Monday, April 14, 2014. The Flower Fields Meets Mean Girls. Down in Carlsbad, California, cascading down a hill, overlooking the Pacific Ocean is 50 acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus displayed at The Flower Fields. I thought it would be really boring to just show picture after picture of flowers, so in celebration of Mean Girls 10th Anniversary on April 30th, I decided to include my favorite Mean Girls quotes! Ever since I moved back from London, I've been working on becoming an active member (read: adult) in society. Monday, March 31, 2014. California may not have had much of a winter, but there have been some beautiful spring days. Last Saturday was not exception. So my SIL and I packed up two kids and two dogs and headed to Skyline to do a little backyard hiking. Everybody and their dog was there. Literally. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. A Story of Coversion Part Two-The Wedding. Remember my friend Daniela from this post. Well, last summer she got engaged to the love of her life! The next day was the sealing. These two kids were meant for each other. The bride's parents were so proud. It was such a beautiful day in Dallas for a wedding. The grooms parents. I really enjoyed getting to know Blake's (groom) mother. Such a sweet lady. Groom and brides parents. Two families became one. The whole grooms family.

Saturday, October 12, 2013. Grilled Cheese And Sunshine. The weather has been so nice in London since I got back. I'm still wearing flip-flops! Any day in London that I get to wear flip flops is a good day. I've been trying to take advantage of my last semester here and seeing as much of London as I can. Saturday, May 24, 2014. I went back to London to walk with my graduating class. I've come to the conclusion that going to and being in London is never a bad decision. Monday, September 23, 2013. Touring The Houses Of Parliament. Last Saturday, I toured the Houses of Parliament. It was a very interesting tour, although I wasn't allowed to take picture inside, which is too bad because there is a great bronze statue of Margret Thatcher looking fierce. Margret actually unveiled the self statue when it was presented. She was pleased that it was made of bronze because it is indestructible. However, she would have preferred it be made of iron.
