To Ethiopia and now to Connecticut! Saturday, January 31, 2009. Still no word on what the dates will be for my trip. I want to say a big thank you though to everyone who has been so generous in supporting me thus far. THANK YOU! I feel so blessed knowing that you want to help. It really means a lot to me. And in case you are not keeping up with the fundraising thermometer on the right side of the page (or I forget to update it) so far I have raised $850! This is a good start :-). Links to this post.

Saturday, May 22, 2010. We are amidst the whirl-wind last weeks of senior year in high school. The second prom.Nipmuc HS.was held last night at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro. Chartered buses and limos transported the guests, giving much relief to anxious parents. Giulia and Domenico were treated to customs not encountered in their home schools. Giulia again said that she felt like a princess. I'm not hearing much activity from upstairs, yet. Saturday, May 8, 2010. It hasn't been working well for a few wee...

Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Giulia is leaving us today.her flight from Boston is at 6 pm, but STS has asked that she be at the terminal at 3. She's packed (jam-packed is the real description) without a single inch of space left. How does anyone pack up a year's worth of memories, gifts, and the stuff she originally came with? So, now it's off to Boston and Logan Airport. Thanks for the memories, Giulia. We'll miss you! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Autumn in New England. We had a .

GoldenRodFarm: March 2009
http://grammajelly.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Could we do that today given the same conditions (not available in stores)? My parents produced our own milk, made our own butter, raised chickens for eggs and meat, raised a pig each of 2 years, had ducks and geese. All families that I knew in our town did the same. Friday, March 20, 2009. My sis...
