Love A Rustic Life. A lazy beach day and a work in progress. It was a lazy day at the beach today. Waves coming and going. We gathered more shells,. A picture I took became the starting point. Of a new fabric collage. A work in progress still. Embroidery and beads need to be added. Holes need to be drilled in the shells. But I'm not in a hurry. Saturday, December 21, 2013. Dit heb ik aan mijn swapmaatje gestuurd. I sent this to my swapmate! Ik moest even een vlekje wegwerken, vandaar alle knopen op de achterkant. Natuurlijk zag ik dat "vlekje" pas nadat het hele hart al in elkaar zat. Had to hide a stain, which I only saw after the heart was finished already. Buttons did the tric. Je gepimpte luciferdoosje is zo mooi geworden en het hartje is schattig en super leuk juist zo met die vrolijke knopen op de achterkant! Wat is een leuke swap zeg!

Over the next few weeks, you will notice an influx of posts of house and yard projects featuring DecoArt products. I am calling this my RE-DecoArt-ing period! From years of weather and neglect, my birdhouse was in pretty tough shape to begin with. A coat of outdoor primer and then the colors just flew! Because of the white base, the colors do not show up on camera as vibrant as they really are. What a gorgeous project!
