February 28, 2011. Billy is a cousin of mine so when I was asked to shoot this wedding I got excited. When you can shoot a wedding surrounded by family and friends it does make everything a whole lot easier. Although weddings really take their tole on you mentally, there really isn’t much left in the tank at the end of the night to celebrate. The plan was to have the wedding outdoors by the lake but with the rain we were forced to have it indoors in a nice romantic hall. The lights were dim and with the huge stone fireplace it really made for a nice warm feeling for the wedding. We got to shoot this wedding with Jeff Bond and thank God we did. Sunday, June 21, 2009. One dirty strobe and a rain dance. I shot at Grand Pre last nite in the rain and it was incredible. you could stand in one single spot there, turn 360 degrees abd use everything around you for amazing backdrops and scenes. only the torrential rain stopped us from shooting more. I cannot wait to go back there. havent touched the images yet but this was the last frame of the nite. Jen tore the roof off in that dress from Felicity Bridal. Links to this post.
