Take market Street towards 2nd Street (approximately 10 minutes walking distance to the hostel). Bank Street is between 3rd and 2nd Street on the right hand side. A taxi will get you from Jefferson Station to the hostel for about $6 plus tip. Shuttles are also available from the airport for $10 per person plus tip. What are hostels anyway?

Petrified Forest National Park. Wow, this place looked crazier than Marc's shorts! Palo Duro Canyon / Texas. Somebody once told me that the best thing to come out of Texas was the I-40. While I don't know what that means, I have to say that the Palo Duro Canyon State Park is absolutely stunning, especially after having visited Hot Springs National Park, which to me was more like a municipal park - and not a good one! Friday, March 22, 2013. I woke up Saturday morning to cloudy skies, I think Southern California was trying to make it easier to leave, as I had been enjoying summer-like weather for the previous 4 days. The Coast Starlight is the train that runs between Los Angeles and Seattle. It was nice to get on a train and hear it's final destination as Seattle although I still had a week before I would be back in Washington. I arrived in San Jose Saturday evening and was met by one of my best PCV buddies- Mollie!
