apple orange blossoms: Tulips

http://www.appleorangeblossom.blogspot.com/2012/04/tulips.html

Saturday, April 21, 2012. Happiest of birthdays to my Daddy! Dad, Grandpa Fred, we love you so very much. Enjoy these photos of your girls in the flower beds. I uploaded at the highest resolution possible so that (maybe? You can print them from here with pretty good quality. Tulip farms are muddy. I recall driving by the tulips in the Netherlands, summer of '95. The rows between the flower beds were simply canals of water. So, I was prepared for mud! Do you see the ski slopes on the mountains behind me?

apple orange blossoms: Town and Country Girls

http://www.appleorangeblossom.blogspot.com/2012/04/town-and-country-girls.html

Sunday, April 01, 2012. Town and Country Girls. One thing Seattle is great for: wild nature close to the urban world. We try to make the most of it. Here is Klara dressed up in her tutu from Aunt Cari (she finally really grew into it! Which she wore to a Pacific Northwest Ballet production of "Snow White." Later that day I took both girls to the park where they found daffodils growing in the wild. SOOOO happy to see new photos! And arent they beautiful girls! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Looking for life and my big questions. Who am I and where am I going? Sunday, April 25, 2010. I have been aching to write again. I wish I was a writer. I don't know if anyone will read it, but maybe that's safer. I need to know I am loved. Because I'm your beloved,. And you love me as I am. You've called me,. Chosen for your Kingdom;. Looking for life and my big questions. Who am I and where am I going? Monday, May 10, 2010. I will be patient. I will open my windows, even if that means I have to wear a sweater. I will go for a walk. I will read my bible. I will be thankful for spending the day with the kids. I will listen to soothing music. I will drink lots of water. I will pick up my new book at the library. I will take a shower and brush my teeth. I will make my bed. I will lay down for 20 minutes of quiet. Seattle Trip July 2008.

Looking for life and my big questions. Who am I and where am I going? Sunday, February 21, 2010. I am cooking again. I am doing laundry on a regular basis. I am making granola and baking bread again. I am also going a little stir crazy with the cold, wet weather forcing us indoors for days at a time. I am needing a way to explode NOT on the kids. I am going to pick up my pen, or rather, my cordless keyboard, and start writing again. The kids need it too. Hi everyone. I'm back! Seattle Trip July 2008.
