Well since that is out of the way on to more ramblings about planning a wedding that is thirteen months in the future…. Shawn, Jennifer, Molly, Joseph, Stuart, Andrew and Owen. Sunday, February 6, 2011. OK, where was I? Oh yeah, the Bellagio. It was beautiful! And very bright and noisy. I'm not going to get into too much detail about Vegas, because most of it could be summed up as bright and noisy. And smoky. I had a great time, I think next time I might stay at Paris, or in the summer Mandalay Bay. I think being there in summer would be amazing- the pools at the Bellagio were incredible. I have since gotten a new phone).

Our first view of Second beach this afternoon.we drove thru snow and rain for the hour and a half drive here but the weather cleared in the parking area, and by the time we hiked thru the woods.well, it wasn't beautiful but at least it wasn't raining. Shawn, Jennifer, Molly, Joseph, Stuart, Andrew and Owen. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Pumpkin carving, apple peeling for apple butter (yes, Stuart, Andrew and Owen are sucking on the same peel:), leaf pile jumping next door, and decorations. I love this time of year! This is what happens with free goldfish. You end up with kids who love fish! I asked Owen and Stuart what they wanted on their walls when they moved into Molly's old room. Stuart had seen a fish mural somewhere and we came up with this.

It started off much better than the previous trip- all equipment on the car in good working order:). In the morning I discovered that there was a beautiful waterfall nearby, Shoshone Falls, and went and explored for an hour or so. They got a day off school so they could drive me to and from Seattle but we made sure they had some educational fun. Joe was soooo excited that a butterfly landed on his arm.
