Scratching for the next chapter. Clawing for the end. Subdued with other people’s thoughts in my head. Soft as a spider’s last plea for salvation. But then it grows. Grows as loud as the roar of a newborn engine. The noise goes away. But the thoughts intertwine with my own. Becoming a part of me. Until then, I wait.
