Thursday, January 31, 2013. Snow Day in Pictures. Winter graced us again for the last day of January! Just in time for several winter festivals that are happening around the area this weekend. Skiers are rejoicing, and we have several folks coming up next weekend to go cross country skiing at Grass River. The snow is here! Come enjoy winter before she is gone! Our huge walnut tree in the back 40. Old Glory in the wind (love the contrast of the colors on the black and white). The barn just down the road.

I have decided to stop breeding sheep and will only have a "spinner's flock" in the future. Therefore there will be no lambs for sale. I will have some pelts available in early summer but the price will be about $150. (Old web site prices were very out of date, costs to process have risen considerably! Raw fleece are not heavily picked over (skirted), you get more wool but you also get more 'junk'! The less good wool can always be used for felting. Interested in more information?
