Kiwiquilter: January 2008
http://kiwiquilter.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
I live on a farm in New Zealand but most of my spare time is taken up quilting or thinking about quilting - hand and machine. Thursday, January 03, 2008. This scrappy is from a jelly roll called Sunshine by April Cornell. I have made it as a birthday present for a girlfriend of many years. I was lucky enough to be able to get some of the same fabric for the border from my local quilt shop. Each year Beth Ferrier http:/ applewd.com/. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Http:/ www.quiltchat.com.

Sew What's New?: October 2008
http://sewwhatsnew-carla.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. Orange Crush, at last. Had a mystery quilt this past summer and she called it Orange Crush since she used a LOT of orange in hers. I used a fraction of what she did and that's plenty for me. I wanted a reproduction look to mine so used a pink, green, and teal blue for the main colors throughout and the rest was very scrappy. If you've ever been to Bonnie's site, then you know that scrappy quilts are her thing. I'm partial to them, as well, so this was a fun mystery. It will hang...

louisa lawson: October 2011
http://louisalawson.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 25 October 2011. I have finally managed to sew two of the inner borders to the central panel - it is almost getting too large to photograph but here is a snapshot. Miracle of miracles, I have also discovered how to use the monopoly thread - lots of practice but I finally worked out that if I reduced the top tension a bit the thread did not break any longer. Thank goodness for that - was beginning to think it might be the machine but hey human error as usual. Thursday, 20 October 2011. Spent a wo...

This was me as I was cleaning. I am allergic to dust and my dry lungs don't like cleaning! The good news is my room is all dusted and nice now. Wanna see? Much more inviting, methinks. Tracy, I think what you are doing is great! Do you draw up your design first and then "kit it up? Do you have an assistant? Uses a bakery ra...

Maine Street Quilts: February 2006
http://azmaine.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Quilts (and some non material musings) on Maine Street, Arizona. Sunday, February 19, 2006. Here's some other pictures from the crazy quilt swap - some stuff I did on other pieces. The swap is over now and I'm looking forward to seeing mine soon. The spider web is just about the glitziest web I've ever done - dark translucent web with beads at the intersections, and a very sexy spider! I'm really looking forward to seeing what it looks like completed. Http:/ www.applewd.com/. This is the January block.
