Applied Osteology: Teaching Products. I can prepare a wide range of teaching products to suit the needs of your students. I have taught a wide age-range students- all the way from Kindergarten/pre-school up to graduate-level statistics, and everything in between. The ability to teach at a level that is appropriate, yet challenging, for the particular age group I am working with has always been one of the most pleasant challenges of teaching that I have faced.

Was founded in January 2006 by me (Mike Etnier). I am based in Bellingham, WA. I received my PhD from the University of Washington in 2002. During my academic career I have had the opportunity to work with Paul Parmalee, Walter Klippell, Don Grayson, and Bill Bass. Any one of them alone has probably forgotten more than I ever learned from them. But working with them taught me just about everything I know about zooarchaeology. Is available on-line, as is my CV.

A note on working with human remains

A note on working with human skeletal remains. Although it is not my preference to work with human skeletal remains, I am willing and able to do so. If it is determined that the remains are, indeed, human, and also that the individual or individuals in question were not the victims of foul play, other state and federal laws may apply. Regardless of how tedious all the legalities might seem, the important thing to remember is that ALL human remains deserve to be treated with respect.
