But my mind is already in June, on the thought of sitting on the front porch with Jonathan at dusk eating this salad. On one of the bleakest days of the winter, I made this salad from the Ottolenghi. ROASTED AUBERGINE WITH A SAFFRON YOGHURT DRESSING. 3 medium aubergines, cut into 1/2" slices length-ways. A pinch of saffron.
