Friday, April 26, 2013. Loving even the rainy days with the white smoggy sky. Embracing the art school aspect of my life. Perfecting my cooking skills by making homemade bagels. Eating as much Chinese food as possible. Testing out the double ride. I'm thankful for my friend Cat Littlepage. Flesh = self reliance = using my own resources. A little FaceTime action for Turner's 2nd birthday. Choo choo John Turner is 2! Can't wait to be at the 3rd party! My sweet brother who filled me in on the birthday action.

Sunday, January 13, 2013. The last couple weeks I've just felt "in between." In between Asia and America.in between opposite time zones.and now in between first and second semester of language classes. Tomorrow I'm headed to Thailand! The national holiday for the spring festival lasts over a month so we have a long break from classes. All the students will be headed home but we'll be headed to warm weather! My skin cannot wait for Vitamin D and I can't wait to escape the frigid weather. And I love it!

c a r e F R E E d: end of the year goggles
http://kelseyanbrown-carefreed.blogspot.com/2013/05/end-of-year-goggles.html
Sunday, May 12, 2013. End of the year goggles. How can I sum up my life lately? It's crazy fun but also a time of introspection and processing. My schedule has been steady but it's getting hectic for my last 2 months. Lots of traveling and lots of visitors. I'm thankful for these things but mostly thankful for what the Lord is teaching me in this precious time. He only allows me to understand a little more of his grace each day and only gives me what I can bear. Rent a double bike for an hour. You contin...

c a r e F R E E d: spirit of adoption
http://kelseyanbrown-carefreed.blogspot.com/2013/05/spirit-of-adoption.html
Monday, May 27, 2013. Today was a day I'll never forget! My sister connected me with one of her friends who is adopting a baby from my city. The Sanders. Contacted me asking if I would be willing to travel to their hotel for "Gotcha Day." The husband and wife were in need of a photographer/videographer for this special day. Of course I said yes! What an incredible experience. I was able to jump into one of the most meaningful days of their life as a family. The Sanders with their two sons in America.

Monday, August 26, 2013. To say my life as changed in the last couple months is an understatement. And with that said, it doesn't mean things are all bad.or all good either! After my last post about Shanghai, I tried to remember what else I did in the last 2 weeks. Besides language classes, I can only remember saying goodbyes to my Asia community. I was an emotional wreck! Can't get enough of these 3. Addie J started walking as soon as we left :(. Cat and Meredith, my mommy role models and BFFs. That's w...

Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The future. It's constantly on my mind. In few months I'm leaving my home for the past 2 years. How do I prepare? Why do I have so much fear? Sweet e-mail from a dear friend:. She should have her own blog, it would be way more interesting than mine). Where it would be a little more obvious what we would do. I am starting to realize that we just have to do something, anything really, and know that God is not going to abandon us. All we have to do is stand at his altar! Saying good...

Tuesday, July 10, 2012. So I've been home for 8 days now. The first week absolutely flew by.maybe because of jetlag and loss of sleep or because I spent it at the beach with family and friends! It was refreshing to be back in Panama City which feels like home almost as much as Homewood. But I also realize I don't have a role or a place in America right now (besides being with my family). Finally got to see my nephew who is a big boy now! Lucy made it, we're not even sure how old she is!
