The Schmitzes: February 2013
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Sunday, February 24, 2013. The boys and I went home this week, and it was really good. We played and played and loved the warmer weather. We flew home Tuesday, and that day we found out we had a firm offer on the house! Woohoo, we're under contract! Saturday, our last day, went by too quickly. We went to Lowes with the oldest three to a build and grow workshop. They made monster trucks and had a great time! When he saw him. So sweet. Saturday, February 9, 2013.

The Schmitzes: May 2013
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Charlie is a little pirate. I've been putting off writing this because I feel every time I write about Charlie, something is wrong. Oh well. It is what it is. It is all minor and subtle. For that, I am really grateful. We're now 8 days in (of 68. Ugh), and he has done so well. I am shocked. Suzanne, can you get Lee's take on this? PS I miss Mississippi. And now that I've written so much about eyes, mine are very heavy. Good night.

The Schmitzes: February 2014
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She encouraged a gluten free/grain free diet since gluten has links to neurological disintegration but said we could go either way since his was mild but that we would see more dramatic results with diet change. She also recommended weekly speech therapy. I am so very grateful Charlie was diagnosed early and that we have access to excellent therapy to help him get better! I hardly held it together. I'm definitely just starting the ...

The Schmitzes: Speech therapy
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2014/06/speech-therapy.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Monday, June 2, 2014. Today he wanted to dress himself. By all means. He picked out Jack's shorts, a superman shirt, and a long-sleeve shirt on top with sockless loafers. Since it was in the 80s today, I forced him to take the long-sleeve off while we were at the park, and he squalled. Then we went and played in puddles and drowned his sorrows. And because I can't leave this cute fellow out, I'm including a picture of SpiderMan. Why are they so cute?

The Schmitzes: November 2013
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Trav is driving. I'm trying to stay awake/not go insane up in this car. Why on earth does MS have to be sooooo far away from Chicago? I typically don't mind a road trip. WITHOUT KIDS. These boys simply cannot tolerate this stretch of time in those carseats. Side note: thankful for carseats, truly. Just hate how confining and non-reclining they are for the bigger kids. So our music is different. And that's about it. Peace out. We ha...

The Schmitzes: April 2014
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Thursday, April 24, 2014. This week I've realized one of my prayers for these boys is now reality. They are so close. Best buds, best friends. And maybe I've seen it more because I've been chasing them with my camera, but they've just made me tear up with their sweet friendship. Big brother hopped in the crib last night because they missed each other. Thursday, April 17, 2014. I 'm way behind. You'll notice by the pictures that Charlie isn't a fan of clothes.
