Saturday, June 29, 2013. Powers Court, Ireland. On Tuesday we went to Powers Court. It's an old estate that is beautiful inside and has fabulous gardens. It is also where they filmed outdoor scenes in "The Count of Monte Cristo". We were there for hours, just walking around. There was lots to do there, gardens, ponds, flowers, and wait.more flowers. Saturday, April 27, 2013. If I like something, clothes, shoes, I tend to wear them until they wear out. So, I don't always see the need to buy new ones all of the time. Granted, I'm unemployed so I am careful with how I spend the money that I have. However today I realized the importance of shoes. Thursday, February 16, 2012. See, another post sooner than the last! When you go to Botanical Gardens, you absolutely expect to see gorgeous flowers. They were breathtaking. I need a better camera, because when I tried for some close ups, they were blurry. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. I've always loved Ireland, and about four years ago a friend of mine introduced me to an Irish group, Celtic Thunder. They aren't really a group, more of a bunch of guys who each have their own style of singing and work together. Occasionally when they are not touring as a group, they go around to smaller venues and preform individually. I love it! I was fortunate enough to meet him after and he was lovely. His acoustic version of "Lauren and I". Me and Keith Harkin.

Monday, March 03, 2014. The Dreaded Phone Call From Your Child's School. A trip to the dentist, and he said we should wait until Friday to see what happens with the roots of his two front teeth, in the event that there was so much trauma that a root canal would need to happen. He didn't want to do any work today if there was more work that was going to need to happen. A big relief to my pocket book at this point. I think we are going to be doing a lot of washing to see if we can remove the target.
