I've had the ring for a couple of years and really wanted to bust it out of my stash as it's far too lovely to languish in a box unused. Materials required: 1 x Swarovski Crystal Ring, 2 x 8 inches (or length to fit your wrist) 2mm wide faux suede cord, 4 x cords ends (to fit 2mm), 2 x open jump rings, 1 x toggle clasp. 16 April 2011 at 12:44.

Also known as spiral rope chain, spiral staircase or spiral stitch, it is very versatile and you can make it as simple or as embellished as you like. For this tutorial I'm making a very simple rope using size 11 seed beads with 3 outer beads over 4 core beads. Here are a few finished ropes in various colours.

Monday, 15 February 2010. Here is a new multi-stitch necklace that I finished this weekend. I wear a lot of purple and teals so I wanted a necklace that would work with both colours. I used a variety. Of stitches, including dutch spiral, circular peyote and spiral rope. It was a lot of fun to make the components. And then decide how to piece them together to create the necklace. Thursday, 30 July 2009. This is the 2 nd. Loopy necklace I made last week and is from the pattern Luxury Loops and Ladders from the most recent Bead Magazine.
