Unique Handmade Jewellery inspired by Nature, Myths and Legends
Sarah Tucker Beadwork: April 2011
http://aprilisforever.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Unique Handmade Jewellery inspired by Nature, Myths and Legends. I am a bit of a hippy at heart, although I am a bit to young to have been a flower child (I was a New Romantic as a teenager). I love the individuality and colourfulness of the arty, hippy style and like to express that love of colour in my jewellery and I seem to be increasingly drawn to nature as inspiration for my beadwork. Operation Tackle That Bead Stash!: The August Challenge
http://tacklethatbeadstash.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-august-challenge.html
The Monthly Blog Challenge. Bead, Book and Bounce. Saturday, 1 August 2015. Welcome to the August challenge! It's colour time and this month we would like you to create something in PURPLE, BLUE, GREEN and BLACK. Image by Cath in Dorset. You can use any shades of purple, blue and green but for this challenge your black must be pure opaque black. Please do not use silver-lined, black diamond or any other beads where the finish has changed the colour from true black. Matt opaque beads are accepted. If your...

Operation Tackle That Bead Stash!: Reflections Bracelet Tutorial
http://tacklethatbeadstash.blogspot.com/2011/04/reflections-bracelet-tutorial.html
The Monthly Blog Challenge. Bead, Book and Bounce. Saturday, 16 April 2011. This weeks tutorial is for this super simple but pretty Swarovski Ring and cord bracelet. I've had the ring for a couple of years and really wanted to bust it out of my stash as it's far too lovely to languish in a box unused. Materials required: 1 x Swarovski Crystal Ring, 2 x 8 inches (or length to fit your wrist) 2mm wide faux suede cord, 4 x cords ends (to fit 2mm), 2 x open jump rings, 1 x toggle clasp. 16 April 2011 at 12:44.

Operation Tackle That Bead Stash!: Basic Stitch Tutorial - Spiral Rope
http://tacklethatbeadstash.blogspot.com/2011/04/basic-stitch-tutorial-spiral-rope.html
The Monthly Blog Challenge. Bead, Book and Bounce. Saturday, 23 April 2011. Basic Stitch Tutorial - Spiral Rope. Another of my favourites and a very popular stitch among beaders is spiral rope. Also known as spiral rope chain, spiral staircase or spiral stitch, it is very versatile and you can make it as simple or as embellished as you like. For this tutorial I'm making a very simple rope using size 11 seed beads with 3 outer beads over 4 core beads. Here are a few finished ropes in various colours.
Bead The Change: August 2009
http://beadthechange.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 14 August 2009. Holiday Necklace 2 and Making Do. Here is the 2nd of my holiday necklaces. The shell beads were previously in another necklace which I cut up to reuse the components. I much prefer the new version. I have been seed beading like mad but yet again have been far too lazy to take photographs. I have also been flicking through lots of my old beading mags and have sorted out a pile to get rid off just not sure what to do with them yet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am a bit of a hippy a...

http://beadthechange.blogspot.com/2010/03/rainy-days-podcasts-new-techniques.html
Friday, 19 March 2010. Rainy Days, Podcasts and New Techniques. It's raining cats and dogs here today, it has come as a bit of a shock after the beautiful sunshine we have been having lately and scuppered my plans to take lots of photo's for the blogs. I have had a nice day, coffee with a mum from school this morning and this afternoon has been spent in the dining room with my beading supplies spread out all over the table, listening to the Craftcast. Here is a link to the Craftcast. A Round Up of the 1s...

Sunday, 20 September 2009. I love Eastern art and architecture and was influenced by these when I was designing this pendant. I chose the pink to remind me of cherry blossoms and added copper. Bead The Change: February 2010
http://beadthechange.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 15 February 2010. Here is a new multi-stitch necklace that I finished this weekend. I wear a lot of purple and teals so I wanted a necklace that would work with both colours. I used a variety. Of stitches, including dutch spiral, circular peyote and spiral rope. It was a lot of fun to make the components. And then decide how to piece them together to create the necklace. The winner of my OWOH. Giveaway is Lennie from eat.write.create! Special thanks to Lisa Swifka. One World One Heart. One World ...

Bead The Change: July 2009
http://beadthechange.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, 30 July 2009. This is the 2 nd. Loopy necklace I made last week and is from the pattern Luxury Loops and Ladders from the most recent Bead Magazine. I much preferred making this one to the other. It worked up very quickly and easily. I love the colours too. Tuesday, 28 July 2009. I bought these beautiful. Hand made lamp work. From Julie Fountain at Lush Beads when I saw them at. Bead and Gem Fair earlier this year. As my holiday wardrobe leaned heavily towards the turquoise. Monday, 27 July 2009.
