http://www.aprilpate.blogspot.com/2008/08/its-like-taking-cereal-from-babydont-do.html

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Some of April's Little Thoughts. Monday, August 4, 2008. It’s like taking cereal from a baby…DON’T DO IT! Our youngest, Zane, just turned 13 months old Saturday. He is hilarious ya’ll! He has so much personality. He is a naturally funny child. Well we call it funny, some may call him “THAT” child…. Zane is great baby! He sleeps well. Takes 2 decent naps in the day, then retires to bed at 7ish and usually sleeps 12 to 13 hours! Daddy got up with him!

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Some of April's Little Thoughts. Thursday, March 26, 2009. This morning while I was enjoying a cup of coffee I decided to watch a little news. You know I don't want to be ostrich like, living as though nothing is happening around me,just because my current situation is fairly uneventful! Doesn't that give u a warm and fuzzy feeling ALL OVER? Seriously, I wanted to turn the T.V. to Disney and watch "happy" T.V. So, what do I do? Posted by One Salty Gal.

http://www.aprilpate.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Some of April's Little Thoughts. Sunday, March 30, 2008. I chose the name Salt. For the title of my blog from the scripture verse Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses it's flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.". In fact, I would say that I like to stand out! I have come to realize with the wisdom that age brings that. THAT'S THEIR PROBLEM! Because I...

Dreaming Up Daisy: My Youngest Brother

http://dreamingupdaisy.blogspot.com/2008/04/my-youngest-brother.html

Saturday, April 12, 2008. Disclaimer: I have never before written about this event that has so touched my life. Please forgive me if I sound dramatic or disorganized. Most of us go through our days, never really experiencing anything truly spectacular. We live pretty normal lives that contain the occasional struggles and obstacles, but so few of us ever have to experience the very real threat of our own mortality and then live to tell the tale. Was he being picked on? How were his grades? Sitting here al...

My Three Sons: Jace - 9 months old

http://shellbelltales.blogspot.com/2010/12/jace-9-months-old.html

Sunday, December 19, 2010. Jace - 9 months old. We all tend to call him "Baby Jace". In fact, sometimes Lawson just shortens it to "Bay Jace". ; ) I also call him "Jace-a-roo." I don't know where I got that, but I just said it one day and it has stuck. : ) Occasionally, we will call him "Jacer." I love all his many nicknames. Jace is wearing 12-18 month clothes right now. : ). He is extremely ticklish! Especially on his back, neck and feet. ; ). Speaking of crawling, Jace can crawl so fast! It is really ...

My Three Sons: Easton's 1st Day of Pre-K (2)

http://shellbelltales.blogspot.com/2010/08/eastons-1st-day-of-pre-k-2.html

Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Easton's 1st Day of Pre-K (2). I haven't updated my blog in over a year and I have missed it so much. I really used this as a diary and documentation of the kids milestones and events. I don't think there is any way to update the entire last year, so I am just gonna jump back in. I am so thankful he had a great day and I am looking forward to this year. I feel really good about it and know East will love Pre-K.again. : ). What a cute picture as your header. Loved hearing the...

My Three Sons: Ice Cream Master Piece

http://shellbelltales.blogspot.com/2009/09/ice-cream-master-piece.html

Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Ice Cream Master Piece. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to go along with this post, but it was so funny that I have to post about it. Look Momma." I guess I was only half listening but finally listened enough to turn around and look. I looked at Easton and he was standing perfectly still staring and pointing at the ice cream machine still quietly saying, "Momma? I quickly put Lawson down and begged him not to run off while I shut off the machine and started grabbing ...

Dreaming Up Daisy: 100 Things, Part I

http://dreamingupdaisy.blogspot.com/2007/12/100-things-part-i.html

Monday, December 3, 2007. 100 Things, Part I. In keeping up with the blogging fiend Chuck. And the fantabulous Liz. I've accumulated a 100 Things. list, mine also being focused on. ME! This is a huge step for me to put so much personal information out in a public blog, but here you go. I've decided to break the 100 into smaller sets because no one really wants to read 100 things all at once AND it gives me four days worth of blog material without having to think too hard! My feelings are easily and often...

Dreaming Up Daisy: December 2007

http://dreamingupdaisy.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, December 6, 2007. 100 Things, Part IV. Here's the final installment of my 100 Things. My best friend who I met in 1. Grade died at the age of 27. I still miss him everyday, but I think I understand why he left this world when he did. I believe that dreaming is a gateway that allows us to communicate with people we can’t physically speak to at the time. I can watch a rodeo and predict the scores of a saddle bronc ride within a couple of points. I wish I could believe in God. After giving birth, ...

Sunday, March 14, 2010. I pretty much delete my blog, all except like 5 entries that seem to attract spammers like crazy. So I'm hoping if I post this, most of the spam comments will start going to this entry rather than the entries that actually matter. Dreaming Up Daisy: 100 Things, Part II

http://dreamingupdaisy.blogspot.com/2007/12/100-things-part-ii.html

Tuesday, December 4, 2007. 100 Things, Part II. And it continues. (It re-started the numbering at 1 because I pasted it from Word). My cat Kiki is rapidly becoming my favorite pet. Though she’s a skittish bitch who hates everyone else, in the last few weeks she’s fallen in love with me and won’t leave my side. I wish I could go back to college and get a degree in Chemistry. I’d change my first and middle names in a heartbeat if I could… Seriously…. I hate romantic, sappy, feel-good books and movies.

April Patterson Clemens

Heart in a Golden Cup. In an album that’s two-parts Patsy Cline, one-part Beach House, Clemens weaves a haunting neo-folk tapestry of love, loss and longing. When she sings, Clemens channels medieval spirits with a rich, earthy tone that bends itself ethereally, the way water bends an image. Ghosts seem to wander through one song to the next on the controlled quiver of Clemens’ voice. Heart in a Golden Cup sounds as if it were recorded in a holy space, an ancient forest or medieval cathedral.
