So this is love...: 34 weeks and counting
http://ohsothisislove.blogspot.com/2011/06/34-weeks-and-counting.html
So this is love. Devoted wife, new mother, aspiring grown up.all in a day's work. Thursday, June 2, 2011. 34 weeks and counting. This Saturday I'll be 34 weeks pregnant and it's really starting to sink in that within the next 6 weeks(ish) I will be holding my little girl in my arms instead of feeling her move in my belly! Ya know, 3 years ago I was single and happy with no immediate thoughts about marriage and babies and here I am, married one year (in about 10 days) and only 6 weeks from being a MOM!

So this is love. Devoted wife, new mother, aspiring grown up.all in a day's work. Monday, March 28, 2011. Chad and I had a WONDERFUL weekend away this past weekend. We stayed at the BlueGreen Resort in Pigeon Forge and we just loved having time away from everyone/everything and sharing special quality time together :) It was definitely needed. While we were there we hit up some of the outlet stores and found some A-DORABLE clothes for Gracie! Okmaybe not.or.maybe.). Lord, make me worthy of Your love!

So this is love. Devoted wife, new mother, aspiring grown up.all in a day's work. Friday, July 22, 2011. 5 days early from her due date, but I'm not complaining :) Here's her birth story for anyone who is interested: Whew! 4am we were on our way. My contractions were moving into the 3-4 minute range at this point and it was a 45 minute drive to the hospital on a 2 lane road so we had a fun little adventure getting there. Hard and all in my back and it was just so excruciating. The relief was WELCOME.

So this is love...: So close....yet so far?
http://ohsothisislove.blogspot.com/2011/06/so-closeyet-so-far.html
So this is love. Devoted wife, new mother, aspiring grown up.all in a day's work. Thursday, June 30, 2011. So close.yet so far? Only about 2 weeks to go until this baby is DUE! I've definitely reached the end of my "comfort level." She's stretched me to my limits and some days I'm convinced she thinks she's gonna make her great escape through my belly button by the way she pushes- or maybe there's an alien in there instead of my baby? The good news is, her head is. Locked into my plevis, which means disp...

Traveling in Thought: Life: More dilemma than game; more trial than free pass
http://travelinginthought.blogspot.com/2014/05/life-more-dilemma-than-game-more-trial.html
The sun changes, mountains crumble, the ocean shall be dried up, the stars shall wither from the vault of night; but God, and God alone, remains ever the same." Charles Spurgeon. Friday, May 9, 2014. Life: More dilemma than game; more trial than free pass. Sports books are typically about winning because winning is far more pleasurable and exhilarating to read about than losing. Winning is wonderful in every aspect, but the darker music of loss resonates on deeper, richer plains. View my complete profile.

Traveling in Thought: June 2013

The sun changes, mountains crumble, the ocean shall be dried up, the stars shall wither from the vault of night; but God, and God alone, remains ever the same." Charles Spurgeon. Friday, June 28, 2013. A song about Psalm 23. Revisiting old school Caedmon's Call this week. I've been loving their song "Walk With Me," which is about Psalm 23. Here's Sandra McCracken's explanation of what the song is all about:. A few of my favorite lyrics from the song:. Walk with me empty, walk with me strong. Let the name...

Traveling in Thought: The True Story - an introduction

The sun changes, mountains crumble, the ocean shall be dried up, the stars shall wither from the vault of night; but God, and God alone, remains ever the same." Charles Spurgeon. Thursday, January 2, 2014. The True Story - an introduction. Recently heard the introduction to the Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones. It was too beautiful not to share:. No, the Bible isn't a book of rules, or a book of heroes. The Bible is most of all a Story. It's an adventure story about a young hero who com...It ta...

Traveling in Thought: The Law vs. The Gospel
http://travelinginthought.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-law-vs-gospel.html
The sun changes, mountains crumble, the ocean shall be dried up, the stars shall wither from the vault of night; but God, and God alone, remains ever the same." Charles Spurgeon. Tuesday, December 24, 2013. The Law vs. The Gospel. The law repels, the Gospel attracts. The law shows the distance which there is between God and man; the Gospel bridges that awful chasm, and brings the sinner across it.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
