Thursday, June 10, 2010. New Name - Additional Use. The heating pads have a new name: Cooling/heating pads. Use as a heating pad by placing them in the microwave for 3 minutes. They will stay warm for 30 minutes. Use them as a "ice" pack, by placing them in the freezer. You no longer need to use a towel, there is now condensation. YEAH! Check out my shop at: www.maryellenscrafts.etsy.com. For a wide variety of fabric covers to choose from. Buy two, one for the freezer and one for use as a heating pad.

Friday, April 9, 2010. Spring is Definitely Here! The sun is shining and the plants are beginning. To bud. The tulips are well on their way to showing their beautiful colors! This is the time of year when you are itching to get outside for any reason, but there is still a little nip in the air on some days. We did have a day last week were we hit 81 degrees. Aprons & Overalls - Recipes, gardening and homemade goods
We're Bernadette and Casey. We live in a little house in a little suburb, just south of San Francisco. We bake. We garden. We make things that we could more easily buy. But making things ourselves is so much more fun and rewarding. And if its food we're making, it always tastes better homemade. I wear my overalls in the garden and my aprons in the kitchen. And Casey? He doesn't mind getting dirty, so all clothes are work clothes to him. Look around and see what we've been up to.
