An opinion, or two. Sunday, March 21, 2010. Miracle on Mercer St. Good karma has finally found it's way into my life. This last week has been f. Upon closer inspection. the "authorities" have now allowed parking on this side of the street, and there was even a space waiting for me! 6 more chances for a good parking space! One street over, parking is going to open up again on April 2nd. Construction noise has been severely reduced/stopped! They are almost done! Dontcha want Jenny to write another blog?

I spent one hour in the bathroom scrubbing away wondering how I just paid $150 dollars to get the rest of my 600 sq ft apt. cleaned but she didn't have time to do the bathroom. skeptical. HOWEVER, the window tracks no longer house the bodies of dead flies, mites and black tar, and I now feel confident that if I turn on my ceiling fan I won't choke on dust. So for those reasons, I am glad she came. And yes, she was a woman.

However it started, it stuck. I have a perfect crock that’s part of my slow cooker, and a small plate that fits in it snugly. I’ve made a few batches of sauerkraut, but I just can’t eat it every day, so I started to think about fermenting other things. June 21, 2010. Going for hummingbirds again. August 10, 2008.
