Pretty adjusted now – Eyagee's Blog

I think finally back on track with proper sleeping schedule. I picked up a cold when I got back, it’s finally down to a niggling cough and McDonald’s Shamrock Shakes such these days. Sigh I’m really trying to like it back home…. honest! Friends are nice to see, Tim Horton’s coffee is still good. Family is always good to me. Hmmm, need more time to plan my next move. A night out in Seoul – Eyagee's Blog
https://eyagee.wordpress.com/2015/02/07/a-night-out-in-seoul
A night out in Seoul. As my time here draws closer to the end, I decided that I needed a good night out with one of my friends. And thus was planned the random about town adventure. It started with going back to that Ramen. Place for some awesome, awesome noodles. I was really hungry and those noodles hit the perfect spot! We then walked around the area, to work off that full feeling and did some casual shopping. At one point I saw a game machine that had Minions in it. Had to play it! Meh, no skin of my...

Stupid, stupid, stupid…. October 31, 2014. 1 Comment on Stupid, stupid, stupid…. From the category of “labels you won’t see in many other countries….”. These tasted utterly disgusting. At first it was just OK, but a couple of them tasted like I was eating plastic! That probably explained why my stomach was feeling off all weekend. Won’t buy those again. October 31, 2014. SCORE! One last point. – Eyagee's Blog
https://eyagee.wordpress.com/2015/02/27/score-one-last-point
Ok, so today is my last day in Seoul and without fail, xenophobia raised its head over last time. I am sitting on the bus back to my city and it happened. But first io needed to explain a few things. These ‘Intercity’ buses are awesome. There are only 3 seats to a row. Two on one side, one an another. They are comfy, spacious and not only do the recline, the leg test pops out too! Look at all that knee room! So yeah. Today plus 3 days left! Having a love of travel has lead me to move to South Korea in 20...

The fond farewell – Eyagee's Blog
https://eyagee.wordpress.com/2015/03/01/the-fond-farewell
Being in Korea for nearly 10% of my life has been one hell of an experience. It has given me a perspective on life and the world that could not be had any other way. Having visited Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia/Singapore, the United Kingdom and obviously South Korea, I learned that it had always been the people you meet that makes the journey memorable. Oh sure, petting a live tiger in Thailand. With 17 people there, we pretty much dominated the place. Then we went to Starbucks and owned that place too!

The fun and amusement won’t stop. 8220;Love Motels” are a thing. Is pretty much what you think it is. A place to have sex. This might sound kinda strange but are kinda bit of a necessity here. See, kids live at home till they get married basically. So, not like you invite your girlfriend over and get any private time at home! So, when you see things like this, you aren’t 100% surprised. 90% maybe but not 100%. Let’s not forget the shelves of VCR. Purposes only of course…. February 28, 2015. There is a go...

April 2015 – Eyagee's Blog
https://eyagee.wordpress.com/2015/04
One month being home. I’m mostly over reverse culture shock. Subtle things are the worst. Like I’m still a little surprised when people hold a door open for me, or say sorry when they just happen to be in the area I’m walking towards. Then there is the food! I’ll try not to grumble too loudly about the f’ing insane cost of my 10GB mobile data plan…. :(. I also bought a car. You really do need one in Canada unless you are a hermit. April 3, 2015.
