About Us

Aqua Freedom Inc. is a not-for-profit association that was established in June 2015. It was founded by Swimming Instructor Brooke Smalley along with parents of children with a disability who access swimming programs at Gisborne South Swimming Centre. The mission of Aqua Freedom is to provide subsidised tailored 1:1 swimming lessons to people with a disability. Families who have children with a disability have great difficulty accessing this type of swimming program.

A BBQ will be held at Gisborne South Swimming Centre on Saturday 24th October to raise funds to purchase uniforms for members. Please call or email us if you would like to discuss donation options. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. A donation of $250 will subsidise a term of lessons for 1 swimmer. A donation of $1000 will subsidise a year of lessons for 1 swimmer.
