In 1982, Unzicker and Carlson published a key to Leucrocuta. Species ID ("Ephemeroptera," pp. 3.72-3.73 in Brigham, Brigham, and Gnilka, Aquatic Insects and Oligochaetes of North and South Carolina. So let's proceed with the key having noted that there might be problems. I'd say these nymphs are Leucrocuta hebe.

I decided to sleep in and catch up on some rest, then go fish the flats. I finally got to the parking lot to fish the Diamondhead side of the flat at 10:30 am. Sunday, July 26, 2015. It only took me seven months to do it, but I finally brought a Hawaiian Bonefish to hand! I used a mantis shrimp fly I tied a while back and blind casted at another part of the Hickam Flat. The bonefish inhaled the fly - I had to use forceps to pull the fly out! It made three runs - the first two taking me into the backing. This fish totally reminded me that I love catching bonefish on the fly! Monday, April 27, 2015. I saw this crab while walking back in from fishing - first time I've seen one like it. The coloring on it reminded me of an East Coast Blue Crab. It even had swimming fins. It's eye stalks were located near the corners of the carapace just like the smaller ones I usually find under the rocks (must me a Hawaiian invertebrate thing).
