Truth Against the World: Move in Progress
http://jameystegmaier.blogspot.com/2009/01/move-in-progress.html
Truth Against the World. Thursday, January 22, 2009. I'm in the process of transferring this blog to what appears to be the far superior blogging interface, WordPress. This is perhaps the first time in history that a company has done something better than Google, but it's true. What does this mean to you, fair reader? Very little. The domain, www.jameystegmaier.com, will remain the same (just give it a day or two), and all past posts and comments have already been moved to WordPress. Subscribe in a reader.

Truth Against the World: Pet Please #1: The Box That Smiles
http://jameystegmaier.blogspot.com/2009/01/pet-please-1-box-that-smiles.html
Truth Against the World. Monday, January 19, 2009. Pet Please #1: The Box That Smiles. Problem is, there's no antonym for "pet peeve." Thus, I'm coining a new term: a pet please. A pet please is a little joy in life, a little pleasure. Pet please entries will be short and sweet, because they're better experienced than read about. Thus, without further adieu:. So, when I was younger, I really liked Billy Joel. I'm talking like - fakeuser99. 04:06 pm March 24th, 2008. Side note: Billy Joel is from Long Island and grew up there at the same time as my father, who was a friend of a friend of his. When I was younger and not really hip to these things, Billy Joel never really struck me as quintessentially "Long Island" (you have to know the type to know what I mean). Now, though, sitting on Oprah? Or Leave a comment. Thread started by the hidden roboter. You know, I...

Consider dropping out. The school will thank you. - fakeuser99. 10:10 pm January 21st, 2008. Consider dropping out. The school will thank you. Reviewing my course reading for tomorrow, I just overheard the following from one of my douchebag classmates:. Yeah, well I think we should build a wall across the [Mexican] border and patrol it with A-10s and shoot anyone who tries to come across.". I hope that guy falls in the parking lot and breaks his neck. I really do. Or Leave a comment. Or Leave a comment.

Irrumifestivus - Irruminations
http://jameystegmaier.livejournal.com/17946.html
This week’s blog entries are devoted to Festivus, both the holiday itself and the party I held this past Saturday. Today I’ll hit on the main topics, and I’ll branch out tomorrow and Wednesday. The photos: http:/ www.kodakgallery.com/Slideshow.js. And actually bought a Festivus pole, but that too would go against Festivus tradition! So I stuck with the least-expensive and most attractive option. The Feat of Strength. The winner of the contest will be the person who most accurately guesses without going o...

Irrumiyawns - Irruminations

The Caroline Vault #2: The Yawn Destroyer. I don’t remember when it started, but a while back, I was in the midst of an extremely gratifying, 5 second yawn when, just as it was coming to an end, I realized Jamey had put his finger in my mouth. He has since made a habit out of this. He doesn’t do it every. The yawn, which has made me come to realize the importance of the last second of the yawn. In response, she sucker-punched me in the back of my neck. With the last episode of Survivor:. The similarities...

Truth Against the World: Management Tactic #2: Run Your Meetings Like Obama
http://jameystegmaier.blogspot.com/2009/01/management-tactic-2-run-your-meetings.html
Truth Against the World. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Management Tactic #2: Run Your Meetings Like Obama. Today I read an article in the New York Times about President Obama's management style. Here's how our current president, the leader of our land, runs a meeting (and presumably, how you should also run a meeting):. Frame the questions you want answered. Give each person a chance to speak. Engage each person and ask questions. Sum up what you've learned and heard. Indicate the direction you're leaning.

Truth Against the World: Best Cookie-ing Tip Ever
http://jameystegmaier.blogspot.com/2009/01/best-cookie-ing-tip-ever.html
Truth Against the World. Saturday, January 17, 2009. Best Cookie-ing Tip Ever. I just learned this last night: If you have a batch of chocolate chip cookies that your sister made for you and they're a little too crisp, put them in a freezer bag with a piece of bread overnight. When you wake up, the bread will be hard, but the cookies will be as soft as when they came out of the oven. It really works. It's pretty amazing. In related news, my friend over at Judicial Peach.
