So we took the stairs down by the waterfalls and had a wander through the streets but without finding what we were looking for, as it was more workaday than arty. After a busy week, was it surprising that I didn't even wake up till after nine? Was it surprising that I didn't feel like rushing all over Paris? And when your hotel is right down the road from the Musee D'Orsay and right opposite the Louvre, it wouldn't be right not to go there.
