Arabia: Lost and Found: January 2014
http://www.arabialostandfound.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 13, 2014. One of the first words I spelled in Arabic. Prayed that I wouldn't give up and I would have opportunities to continue to speak Arabic. Fast forward to this week and God answered that prayer. I work at an institution where there are many native Arab speakers. Who also speak English fluently. This brought the question to mind: why do we travel? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
Arabia: Lost and Found: December 2013
http://www.arabialostandfound.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 21, 2013. About a year ago, I was doing some shopping at the grocery store in the Avenues Mall, which is the largest mall in the country. It was December and I was just picking up some food items and looking through the clothing when I heard music. It was the mall background music, but I knew the song. It was a Christmas song! Some of my friends here have a tough time being away from family who are back home during the season, and it can be especially painful for them. Please pray ...

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Bringing God on Vacation: Georgia. Do I believe that all of the people in the church were Christians? No Do I believe that all of their practices, such as candle lighting and praying to icons, are biblical? Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Esus, thank You so much for the opportunity to travel. Thank You that I get to live at the apex of human history where I have the money and ability to see the world. Pray that you would help me to be a blessing to others in another country.

In a lifetime, millions of moments pass by without ever receiving a second glance. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. October was a busy month, evidenced by the lack of posts here. In October, there's usually a spill-over of tasks that need to be accomplished from September, but because there are only 30 days in that month, it just all can't be done. In a previous post. In a lifetime, millions of moments pass by without ever receiving a second glance. Saturday, July 06, 2013. We often don't notice just how much we have changed until we come back to the same places and realize that they have changed, too. Well, in the midst of all of the changes, there are a few things that are ever-true: Chris will always wear shorts, I will always read books in the sun, and the Lord is always faithful. For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:.
