Association for Responsible Alternatives to Workers’ Compensation. During the 2016 legislative session, supporters of a Tennessee Option worked on possible amendments to a bill that was originally filed in 2015. Improvements to the bill are being assessed in response to stakeholder suggestions to ensure a fair balance is achieved between employees and employers. We expect continued discussion among Tennessee Option supporters with introduction of a revised bill in 2017. The Option's Positive Impact.
