Arbroath Heritage are delighted to announce an ambitious one day event for the 4th July 2009 which will celebrate the rich history of Arbroath and Angus. The day will begin with a multi period living history camp, which currently stretches from the Roman period to the Napoleonic wars. This will be supported by a fish and farmers market which is always popular. Later at night, there will be a torchlit procession and Viking boat burning.

Celebrating Arbroath's Unique History. Tuesday, 14 October 2008. We are a local organisation that seeks to celebrate Arbroath and Scotland's rich history by putting together historically themed events. In the past, we have organised Medieval Faires, Markets, hugely succesful Viking Raids and a specially written play on the founding of Arbroath Abbey, all of these events have had strong community involvement. We have also taken part in Tartan Day events in Aberdeen and Arbroath.
