Saturday, May 29, 2010. Chora is Plato's idea of the space inbetween. The gallery is being designed for contemporary Aboriginal art, which is influenced by traditional Aboriginal culture as well as contemporary society, thus I have applied the idea of Chora to try and find the space inbetween and have done this through splitting the building into 2 sections. Narrative and Philosophy behind Gallery. A young man wants to open a gallery in Newtown to display and sell. Of the gallery should be downplayed.

Thursday, April 8, 2010. The main Parti of the house is the alternating interior and exterior spaces that run along the central spine of the building. The plan poches show the central spine through the building the way that light through spine would keep people moving through it. It also shows the subtle transition between interio and exterior spaces and the way in which the courtyards are open spaces but they still free enclosed due to the surrounding walls and the trees. The gallery is for a artist named Andy Gilmore, who working on interessting geometry arts, so , the gallery's shape and many aspects, like the plan arrangement, the detail apperances are reponsing to the geometry art works he did.
