The Black Goat Pit. The other week I was supposed to be doing some TV work so I kept that week of the field school free of students. However as usual with TV companies they changed their dates and I am actually going to. I decided to see if it was a pit or not. It is a long time since we had any videos on the website so I decided to video it as I dug it so you could see what if anything I found. I never suspected it would turn out to be a Black Goat pit that had plastic orange baler twine in it!

Bone in feather pit. Secret Bird worshiping Cult at Saveock. In 2003 we were following the floor of a Mesolithic clay platform and discovered our first feather pit. At the time we thought the cut was made as a result of someone digging a hole to plant a tree. We were soon. To find it was something very different indeed! We knew the stones were not from our geology as soon as we found some tiny flint nodules in them. Flint is only found in the coastal. I have spent most of my career in archaeology disprov...

Today we were approached by a madly cycling small pink-clad girl on a tiny noisy pink bike.
