Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Joe's 40th: Day 5, New York City. Joe indulged me on Sunday morning and agreed to head back to Cafe Lalo for breakfast. He knew I was going to miss that place, and I was so excited to eat there one last time. :) We took a nice walk through the Upper West Side to get there. Love the stoops and streets of NYC. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Last Saturday night, I headed up to Edmonds for a cookie party hosted by Heidi. It started at one in the afternoon, so I figured we would be baking cookies for a few hours and I'd head home early that evening. I had NO idea what a Taffera cookie party was all about! Thursday, September 30, 2010. Showered with More Love. After the hair trial and after Joe got off work on Saturday, we drove down to Portland, where Joe's family threw us a wedding shower! The shower took place at Joe's parents' house, and Joe's sister and niece helped host. They are so creative and covered these chairs with white tulle so Joe and I would have 'bridal seating' when we opened gifts. So sweet! Monday, November 29, 2010. Thanksgiving Fun: Family Edition. So enough about the dogs, right? In my family, too! It's been a while since I've spent a holiday with my whole family. When Joe and I moved to the East Coast, we promised we would fly home for major holidays. But finances prevented us from ever doing so. My parents flew out for Thanksgiving both years, but I didn't get to see the rest of the family (well, except via Skype). Anyway, on to pictures! My aunt Kathy, my mom, and my aunt Bonnie.

March - Gown shopping with my mom and I purchase my dream wedding gown. March - First trip into Boston. May - A trip into Maine. May - My 29th birthday celebrated with a trip to New York City. June - Our final trip into Mystic, Connecticut. June - Joe's 40th birthday, a surprise visit from Cindy and Samantha, and Fenway Park! October - We get married!

We had an ugly sweater contest, a cubicle decorating contest, cookie party, and potluck. My little team had fun with all the festivities. Friday, October 29, 2010. Home from the Honeymoon. Monday, October 18. My luggage tag. :). Of course, we couldn't get out of the country without a little drama. :) When we went to check in for our flight, the airline couldn't find our flight. Apparently, the computer said we were to connect in Charlotte, but our tickets said we were to connect in Phoenix. That took a bit of time to figure out, but they finally found our flight. Immigration asked Joe a bunch of questions. I felt like we sounded guilty...

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Pit Stop in Wenatchee. Sorry for the lack of posting. We finally made it to our final destination and have been waiting for internet and for things to settle down a bit.
