In the beginning there was naturally and as so often the discussion about Monohull vs. Multihull. To give you an overview here a pro/conta list from the book: Katamarane und Trimarane, Per Asmuss, S.18. Normally Multihulls are unsinkable. Multihulls provide much more living space per meter and invested. Multihulls can't go as high to the wind as Monohulls.

The structure of the boat will be build out of duflex panels. Those are pre-produced sandwich-panels(right image) which means that a core plate out of foam or balsa is laminated on both sites with glass fiber laminates.
