Subscribe to our monthly. Schaefer Academy Beginner Pistol. This course is intended for people with little or no pistol shooting experience. It is an introduction to the basics of pistol shooting. The course will focus on learning skills through the use of .22 caliber pistols, with a brief introduction to centerfire handguns at the end of the course. This course is limited to five (5) students. Basic safety, gun parts and operation, and fundamentals of marksmanship.
