Organisiert Forellenfang mit einem erfahrenen Fisch-Guide in den Seen, Bächen und Flüssen der Halbinsel Melrakkaslétta ( Fuchsebene ) und der Halbinsel Langanes im Nordosten Islands. Die erstgenannte Halbinsel liegt nur wenige Kilometer südlich des Polarkreises. Dieses Gebiet ist weitgehend vom Tourismus unberührt. In dem Lónsá-Fluss auf der Langanes-Halbinsel fischt man den Meer-Saibling und die Meer-Forelle. Der Fisch ist üblicherweise zwischen 1-4 Pfund schwer, kann aber auch bis 7 Pfund erreichen.
