This is Mariza back in the Seattle office having a reality attack . trying to recover from jetlag and getting back down to terra ferma. The airport is tucked away in a relatively narrow valley and we landed after a steep, tight turn into the wind between the mountains.exciting! This place is marvellous and downright lush after Kangerlussuaq. Greenland is really green here. We flew south over fjords and glaciers and icebergs and deep blue water. The call came about 8:40; I was in the border control queue at 9 and on the transfer coach about 9:15. I’ll note that the weather in New York has been perfect all day, a welcome change from the sweltering day I left on the Rotterdam. My 6PM train departed on time and appears to be running on time. We’re just leaving Philadelphia and I’ll be home about 9PM.
