The Stanisław Siedlecki Polish Polar Station in Hornsund. Is located in Isbjornhamna Bay of the Hornsund Fjord. It represents the southern part of the Norwegian Island of Spitsbergen, part of the Svalbard Archipelago. This establishment conducts year-round scientific research and is the northern-most permanent Polish scientific site.
