Friday, October 29, 2010. I really need to post about Jake's 10th birthday, but I haven't downloaded my pics from my camera yet! So in the meantime, I'm going to write about our school year. So, after a lot of indecision (Tara and Mel, I'm so sorry for all my agonizing phone conversations! The older 3 are doing most of the same skills, just at the age/developmental level they are in. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Immigration Approval is Here! Yesterday afternoon we got our I800A approval in the mail. We were already approved through our Mexico process, so all we needed was a "change of country" update. Thankfully, we didn't need new biometrics (fancy name for fingerprints! I did enjoy chatting with him (with his thick Colombian accent! I have a hard enough time shopping and cooking in the US! I am really nervous about doing it in a foreign country with different foods and in Spanish!

Taste and See: 3 (and a half) week Update!
http://steppingstonemommablog.blogspot.com/2011/06/3-and-half-week-update.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. 3 (and a half) week Update! Ok, so my lofty goal of doing a weekly update on this blog has turned out to be pretty laughable! I have hardly any time to sit down, much less think through what to type on a blog post! Everything on the home-front is going amazingly well. After all the drama and tantrums in Colombia I fully expected coming home to be even worse but it has been just the opposite. Yes, we have still had a few tantrums but they are short lived and FAR apart! LOL) Cindy h...

http://steppingstonemommablog.blogspot.com/2011/09/all-cindy-wanted-for-her-4th-birthday.html
Saturday, September 17, 2011. All Cindy wanted for her 4th birthday was a Cinderella dress. She was so excited to get that and a lot of other homemade presents from her brothers. Jonathan was so excited to get his own nerf gun like his big brothers. Oh, the battles that ensued! The girls decided they didn't want to continue that tradition! At the Harford County Farm Fair, Luisa told us that her foster family had a cow just like this. It was her favorite. Eight Is Not Enough. February 17, 2012 at 10:28 AM.

Phillips Ponderings: January 2014
http://phillipsponderings.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 22, 2014. December was devoted to Christmas festivities. We did lots of fun things! These pictures and high lights may not be in chronological order. Kyper was in 2 Christmas programs. One with church (videos in previous blog post) and one with preschool. Here one snippet of the preschool program:. We decorated the tree (actually Kyper did about 90% of it) and the house. Even Blub Blub got into the Christmas mood. We got plenty of snow in December and enjoyed playing in it. How else wo...

Phillips Ponderings: Kyper turns FIVE!
http://phillipsponderings.blogspot.com/2014/07/kyper-turns-five.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2014. We couldn't let this big of birthday go by without some sort of celebration. So, we decided to go all out and celebrate it 3 times! We happened to be in west Michigan the weekend before his birthday, so my mom graciously hosted a birthday party for him for family and some friends from Dearborn that just moved to West Michigan. Kyper had a ton of fun seeing his best bud Frank at Grandpa and Grandma's house and he had a ton of fun with his cousins. FRB's (Frequently Read Blogs).
