Sunday, August 14, 2011. Here's one of the videos of the brella painting process. The adorable song, "I Was Made For Sunny Days" is by the Weepies :) You should definitely check out their music! As you can see the camera slipped a little low. I'd like to claim that it was an artistic choice in documenting the process. but no, no it was a shoddy tape job * I taped a camera to the handle of a brella. I'm crafty like that ;). It's a super simple painting but it looks really cute under an umbrella!

So basically: a bunch of awesomeness has been happening! 1- A few weeks ago Good Day Sacramento took notice of the brellas and did a cute interview. W/ me I was super nervous but very happy I didn't giggle myself into submission. 2- A certain magazine, owned by a certain famous (and wealthy) female television host, will be featuring the brellas in an article after the holidays. *my head is still spinning! Thursday, September 1, 2011. Green City It Is! So last Friday we sent out a survey asking "which umbrella should we really. Because I was getting mixed reviews about the 2 umbrellas that were chosen to be printed. WELL, the results are in and the response was tremendous! Green City blew Heartbot out of the water. But rest assured- Heartbot WILL be printed in the future. Just this first initial line will be the Starry Whale and Green City designs. But so far so good :). Much Love and Mental Hugs- Lauren.

Tuesday, April 3, 2012. So here's a quick update with whats going on: (this is particularly for those who are expecting umbrellas as their backer rewards). The umbrellas FINALLY ARRIVED! They got held up in customs for a loooong time for reasons unknown to me (they're very secretive! And finally showed up without warning on my doorstep. Could not be happier about this! And LET THE SHIPPING BEGIN! Ps they look AWESOME! All other rewards will also be going out very soon! April is going to be a GREAT month!
