Ardnamurchan Lighthouse Taigh Solais Aird Nam Murchain. Ardnamurchan Lighthouse Visitor Centre. Latitude 56 43.6′ N Longitude 6 13.4′ W. At the most westerly point on the British mainland, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse has been guiding ships safely through the waters off Scotland’s west coast since 1849. The Tower is Closed for Maintenance. The exhibition, café and shop will remain open until October 31st. Tours of the lighthouse tower will resume in 2018. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.

The Ardnamurchan Photographic Society is a camera club for traditional and digital photographers of all levels of experience, and has been going since 2006. We warmly welcome new faces at our meetings. The club meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm at the Ariundle Centre, Strontian.
