Arduaine Cottages: The Location. The hamlet of Arduaine is situated midway between Lochgilphead and Oban on the A816, five miles south of the village of Kilmelford. A map of the area can be viewed on our Contact Us. Page There are excellent marina facilities at nearby Kilmelford, Craobh Haven and Ardfern - all within 5-10 minutes drive, plus swimming pools and golf courses at both Lochgilphead and Oban. The famous links course at Machrihanish is a must for keen golfers, albeit somewhat further afield.

Large fully equipped combined kitchen/dining room. Lounge with 3-seater and 2-seater sofas. Bathroom with mixer shower, toilet and hand basin. TV, video, DVD and stereo CD player. Across Asknish Bay to the islands of Shuna, Scarba and Jura. The area is one of breathtaking seascapes. That, together with the gentle influence of the Gulf Stream, provides an excellent environment for plants with rare rhododendrons and even palm trees to be found. Seals and otters can be seen on the shore.
