Using AREF | Arduino Dilettante
https://arduinodilettante.wordpress.com/2011/03/16/using-aref
Random personal Arduino information. March 16, 2011. So I want to use a reference voltage of 3.3 volts for my project. It looks pretty simple, connect the 3.3 volt source on my Arduino to pin AREF, issue the command analogRefernce(EXTERNAL) and I am in business. The analogReference() documentation has the following ominous and cryptic statement:. Don’t use anything less than 0V or more than 5V for external reference voltage on the AREF pin! Many questions come to mind. I think I have figured it out.

Random personal Arduino information. Using AREF →. March 14, 2011. I was looking for a project to use as a means of learning more about what I could do with the Arduino. I figured it would not be to hard to build a two-wheeled self balancing robot, basically a miniature Segway. Well my first version did not work, but I figure someone might learn from my failure so I will post some pictures and some notes. I purchased a cheap Accelerometer from Pololu (ADXL335) in hopes that I could avoid spending too muc...

Random personal Arduino information. This page is mainly for my personal use as a repository for notes and links related to my Arduino hobby. I feel that the best way to learn something is to attempt to teach someone else. As a result I will attempt to document things here in such a way that I think others will understand. If you find it useful, that is great. But I would not assume that anything you see here is necessarily true. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. HP IR Remote Codes.

Random personal Arduino information. Digital Input vs Output. HP IR Remote Codes →. December 23, 2010. The data transfer rate from remote to Arduino is not blistering. It takes about 44ms per character. Find for adjusting volume, not so great at swinging a servo 180 degrees one degree at a time. I used the following sketch to use the IR Receiver to operate two servos. ServoPan; const int. PinIR = 9; IRrecv irrecv(pinIR); decode results results; const int. PinServoElev = 5; const int. DelayMs = 5; unsigned.

The random() function of the Arduino -though not really random- is a handy command simulate seemingly random occurrances on an Arduino. So I used the following code:. If (now.hour() = 21 & now.minute() = random(10) {. It always switched on at 9 pm exactly. The reason why it always switches on at 21.00 is because in one minute, the loop with this comparis...
