Bulletin Editor South West: The 'Standing Up for Freedom' Show
http://bulletin-editor.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-standing-up-for-freedom-show.html
Bulletin Editor South West. Occasional online journal entries of Spoken/Written Bulletin S.W.s Editor and writer, performance poet and storyteller S.V.Wolfland. Monday, 4 February 2013. The 'Standing Up for Freedom' Show. I have always loved Philosophy. Even while finishing my 'A' Levels, and asked what I planned to study, I replied that (while English and Drama seemed on the cards) I was much tempted by Philosophy, much to my drama teacher's horror! The history of the very idea of 'freedom'? This blog w...

Bulletin Editor South West. Occasional online journal entries of Spoken/Written Bulletin S.W.s Editor and writer, performance poet and storyteller S.V.Wolfland. Monday, 11 June 2012. Taking the Mic - Great to be a Guest. It's no longer May, but then I've had a lot of things getting in the way of regular blog post paste ups! But here it is, a little later than planned. Can it be right? And why is it different to people writing a cliched / distorted image of the author? How do I make the best of it? Jackie...

Shaping Words: January 2015
http://shapingwords.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Exploring English Syllabic Verse. Thursday, January 22, 2015. Syllabic Tanka Day for 2015: The Translations of Edwin A. Cranston. Syllabic Tanka Day for 2015. Tanka is one of the oldest continuously practiced syllabic forms in the world. It has a written history of about 1400 years; but I suspect its origins go back into the mists of time. Shaping Words: The Sound of a Rhyme
http://shapingwords.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-sound-of-rhyme.html
Exploring English Syllabic Verse. Friday, July 17, 2015. The Sound of a Rhyme. The Sound of a Rhyme. Warm sixth month morning. Winding pathways in the park. Cloudless sky, earth dust. And the sound of rustling leaves. Journos statements on T.V. Standing on a low sand dune. By the Pacific Ocean. The cliff’s corrosion. As the wind dissolves the stone. On a cloudless night. The full moon’s achingly bright. Shadows from an owl in flight. A brief dream-like sight. Above a construction site. A stain of mildew.
