A REASON TO RIDE . Is a non-profit organization. Our largest event is the bike run that we host annually, held every second Sunday in June. The proceeds from this run are used to help needy Veterans through out the year!

Start and End Point is still VFW Post 5446 - Windsor Ave. Plainfield CT. The run is approximately 50 miles from start to finish. Start out on Railroad Ave heading toward Route 12. Take Route 12 south into Jewett City. In Jewett City take route 138 toward Voluntown. . In Voluntown take route 165 toward Preston. In Preston take route 164 toward Griswold/Jewett City. In Jewett City take route 138 toward Jewett City. Follow route 138 toward Jewett City and into Lisbon. In Lisbon take route 169 into Canterbury.
