We stay in a small town on the edge of a large national park, an area of ancient rainforest. The attraction here is the availabiloty of hiking in the jungle. The one everyone went on was to the rope bridges suspended between trees right up in canopy, giving a unique vantage point on the beauty of the jungle, not to mention an Indiana Jones-esqe feeling of adventure. Are we nearly there yet? Wednesday, 24 March 2010. On Sunday 18th April 2010, I will be heading off into unknown territory with a group of about 20 like-minded people. What started out as a simple plan to visit Australia has grown into something much more adventurous - to get there with as little flying as possible. Just another WordPress.com site. May 24, 2011. Trailwalker training is going well! Less than 8 weeks to go before our 100k challenge! Liz and I completed the Star Trekk walk for Queenscort Hospice on Friday 17th June as the lead walkers. We finished the 11k (7 mile) night walk in 1 hour 25 minutes – a very respectable time!
