Are We There Yet? Throop Family Travel Blog. Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Blackberries for breakfast, Cannon Beach, Blazing Trails, Dew? I spy ripe blackberries. We packed up our tent this morning (last time for this trip) and did a good job with Leave No Trace at our campsite as we packed the van back up. There wasn't a lot of shells there, it was more of a sand beach. Lot of people on the beach. McKay loved his sandcastle! Lovely mist rolling in. That's about as far in as Scout would go. Once we got across into Western Washington, we stopped at Snoqualmie Falls and got some pictures in, then onto Grandpa's house. We were hungry, but I wasn't sure how the kids would behave sitting in a restaurant, so Grandpa and Daniel went and got Azteca to go and brought it home. It was delicious!
