He eerie thing about Rigoberto Gonzalez's poem "Our Deportees" in the current March/April issue of The American Poetry Review. And Pushcart Prize volumes are finalized. Pansy Poetics: July 2012
http://pansypoetics.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 3, 2012. On Scott Hightower's "Self-Evident". Afterwards, I knew. He would resort to grumbling. From some perverse shadow. Of his own masochistic imagination,. That there would be a dramatic. Monologue about being abandoned. Would that he grasped that each. Of us does well but to serve up. To the other the most ordinary joy! The whole undulating world. Is complete and florid,. Is a single rhapsodic. Motion. And, as you. And I will know- his. Own gorgeous, archaic. Included- everywhere, there.

Pansy Poetics: On New Books by Cyrus Cassells, Eduardo C. Corral, and Daniel Nathan Terry
http://pansypoetics.blogspot.com/2012/10/on-new-books-by-cyrus-cassells-eduardo.html
Sunday, October 28, 2012. On New Books by Cyrus Cassells, Eduardo C. Corral, and Daniel Nathan Terry. Here's no denying the subject matter is an important one: the role of young people in World War II and the Holocaust. For the most part, Cyrus Cassells' Crossed-Out Swastika. Tries to avoid the more obvious pitfalls: easy pathos and obvious dramatic ironies. You can easily see why his lyric gifts have always made him so deservedly respected. Look at his. Cyrus Cassell's The Crossed-Out Swastika. Nice Ide...

Updates from Rebecca: June 2008
http://rebeccaonthego.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 22, 2008. As for my adjustment, I was completely stressed out at the beginning of the week as I worried about Conor settling in with the rhythm of our apartment life. This stress didn't last long, however, and now I remember how easy it is to take care of cats. Conor is an absolute joy to have and I hope everyone will have a chance to meet him at some point. Saturday, June 14, 2008. Last night I fueled up for a drive up to San Francisco (Giants-As game), and paid $4.49/gallon. Ugh. Somehow I...

Updates from Rebecca: Half Moon Bay
http://rebeccaonthego.blogspot.com/2009/01/half-moon-bay.html
Thursday, January 22, 2009. This past Saturday I finally made it to Half Moon Bay, which is only about an hour or so away. The pictures do a better job of speaking to the beauty of this area than I ever could (thanks to the photographer). I found the surrounding area quite charming - the farmstands. And the quaint downtown in particular. HMB. Is known for its Pumpkin Festival each fall but I was happy to visit when it was not peak tourist season. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
