The apartment is ideally located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Argentière. Positioned near other privately-owned residential properties, it makes the perfect hideaway - whilst being conveniently in the centre of town. In Winter, Argentière is the perfect base for snow sports, lying at the foot of the Grands Montets ski lifts and some of the finest on and off-piste skiing in Europe. Fly to Geneva with Easyjet. Or your airline of choice. It is then a one hour drive to Argentiére. Car hire can be arranged in advance or on arrival, with most of the major car hire companies represented at the airport terminal (Swiss side). Alternatively a shuttle minibus can collect you for as little as £35 per person and drop you at the apartment door. Contact ATS to arrange www.a-t-s.net. Driving distance from Calais: 563miles (7 hrs 50 mins). More detailed directions are available on request.

You can pull up temporarily outside the front door just to load/unload baggage etc. There's free parking directly opposite the apartment in the SNCF station car park. You may have to move your vehicle within 24 hours if a heavy snowfall has to be cleared. In the unlikely event that the car park is full, there's a larger one behind the station (still free). What time do we arrive / leave? What's the full address? How do we get the keys? Where can beginners learn to ski? There is a nursery slope in Argenti...
