No Oil for Jerry: No where i can go for Vacations
http://jerryhotspot.blogspot.com/2010/05/no-where-i-can-go-for-vacations.html
No Oil for Jerry. Monday, May 3, 2010. No where i can go for Vacations. I couldn’t believe it today! The very first time that I was going to go to. I was told by the airlines that there are no planes that are taking off or lading! By ground, and trying to go by boat is going to take time. The waiting list for a ride on a boat is really long and I don’t think I’m going to make it to. This year. HOW LAME! Well at least my friends are having fun right! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Living Without Oil: Finally Overcoming the Crisis!
http://angiewithoutoil.blogspot.com/2010/05/finally-overcoming-crisis.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. Finally Overcoming the Crisis! Things are going back to normal! The oil crisis is disappearing! Don't get me wrong, this oil crisis taught me a lot, but I'm glad things seem to be getting better. If anything, this oil crisis taught me that many things rely on the use of oil…not just cars! And, sadly, I learned that the hard way! They can easily promote energy efficient choices like solar and electric appliances. We are all. Contributing to pollution as long as we are dependent on ...

Living Without Oil: Organic Scavenger Hunt!
http://angiewithoutoil.blogspot.com/2010/04/organic-scavenger-hunt.html
Friday, April 30, 2010. Today was full of new information! I was looking for a job in local markets on the Internet and I happened to stumble on some very interesting information. Did you know that our food takes long road trips before actually getting to us? Arrowhead bottled water alone travels about 2,500 miles to get to Los Angeles, CA from Greenwich, CT. Who thought that the clear, hydrating substance would take such a long trip before reaching you? That’s about 2,200 miles away! I ran for it and go...

Living Without Oil: Drowning in the Oil!
http://angiewithoutoil.blogspot.com/2010/05/drowning-in-oil.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. Drowning in the Oil! The stress is getting to me! Working for a big oil company does not always come in handy! I have worked for BP (British Petroleum) for almost 10 years already and things have never gotten this bad! For one, these Democratic senators are trying to make BP pay off up to $10 BILLION in damages, lost wages, economic suffering and clean-up costs. How can they force us to pay money for something that uncontrollably happened? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Angelica G. Lupercio: My Obession
http://angelicawithoutoil.blogspot.com/2010/04/uses-of-oil.html
Angelica G. Lupercio. Friday, April 23, 2010. Today, I watched a news report about petroleum and I was extremely impressed to learn that everyone highly relies on oil without even knowing it! It is incredible to know that we encounter it in our daily lives with the majority of items we use such as products for hygiene and beauty. I cannot believe that I apply so much oil on my face with all the make-up I use. As I watched the news, I thought to myself, "HOW NASTY! I am glad that I wash my face. I was jus...

Angelica G. Lupercio. Friday, May 14, 2010. Oil, oil, oil. What more problems will you bring? Some of the things we can change in our life styles are too save energy by using only the necessary, by changing light bulbs, and b. 8217;t the worst consequence. I don’t feel good about knowing this and not doing anything about this disastrous issue! I don’t know about all of you, but this oil dependency, shortage, and the consequences are scaring me! Others into doing the same sacrifice I am willing to do....

Administration I feel in between because I don't feel comfortable announcing my decision. I wouldn. 8217;t want to be against any side, but I know I should do what I think is best for the nation. I haven’t only heard about this disaster, but I decided to experience this oil spill catastrophe for a short period of time i. N order to come up with a better solution to. I don’t think ...

Angelica G. Lupercio: April 2010
http://angelicawithoutoil.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Angelica G. Lupercio. Thursday, April 29, 2010. My cooking class has been very interesting and full of incredible, but useful information this whole week. I am glad I have not missed a day. Foods' origin can be very surprising! Now, I am concerned about FOOD SHORTAGE because there are many food items that I like, which are expensive and are not made or packaged in Los Angeles. Luckily, there are many COMMUNITY GARDENS in L.A which are taken care of by organizations such as. Which are people like me who c...

Angelica G. Lupercio. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Have you all seen t. I can't believe people are stuck in the airports or in a loca. Way from home due to a natural disaster! I would expect airplanes to fly over anything, but I guess not. :( I don't know what I would do in their situa. But I would sure go NUTS! I think these flight cancellations will bring negative effects in everyone's. Lives because people will have to wait until the airlines function again or take other methods of transport. Living Without Oil: Supply & Demand
http://angiewithoutoil.blogspot.com/2010/04/supply-demand.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. I had an interesting day in economics class. We were reading about supply and demand. I learned that supply. Is how people that want to sell something decide. Of a good or service they are going to sell and at what. They are going to sell them. Potential sellers decide how much of their product they are going to make available and at what price. I also learned that demand. Ability of people to purchase a product or service. It is when people. Have the money to. I would suggest for...
