Sew That's It: August 2011
http://sewthatsit.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 13, 2011. A couple of years after I started my slipcover business, I was so happy to have the opportunity to buy a used Handy Junior Button Press. My kids used to love pulling the handle down and Presto! A covered button. They are all grown up now, so it is mostly just me having fun with the button maker. I hope to put some covered buttons in my Esty shop too soon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. This is a Flickr badge showing photos in a set called sew thats it.

Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Well, I left the UK once again. This time to go to the wedding of my dear friends Joe and Birgit in Bavaria. It was rather lovely, and I took a few pictures. I've posted some of my favourite ones here. The ones at the end are of Munich. We ended up going to Munich on Sunday as bit of a last minute adventure. We were accompanied by Mica and Wolfgang , and their son James. We had a lovely time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Friends and Neighbours.

A Brave Toned Timid Girl: Berlin...
http://bravetonedtimidgirl.blogspot.com/2008/11/berlin.html
Thursday, November 13, 2008. It seems as if I have many a reason to visit Germany lately - I think the best one is that its so very close! I was in Berlin last week for a Bioplastic Conference, and decided to stay a couple of extra days to see the city! The architecture is AMAZING - so many different styles and visions all in one place, I felt as if I was walking through a history of design class with Sue Barnwell. Enjoy my photos! Ha ha, from seeing your photos, your design direction speaks for itself!

Sew That's It: May 2011
http://sewthatsit.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 26, 2011. I’ve been making these strawberry sachets for years. I fill them with lavender, top them with leaves made from wool felt, or felted wool sweater pieces, and tie them together with vintage rayon or silk seam tape. Most of these are made from vintage fabric bits, or from men’s ties. I saw instructions in the Martha Stewart Craft book when I borrowed it from the library, and again saw instructions in the June, 2011 issue of Country Living Magazine. So fun and so easy. A Brave Toned Timid Girl: June 2008
http://bravetonedtimidgirl.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 7, 2008. York, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Man, I'm on a roll today. Here are some pics. Of the trip I took with my parents to York, Edinburgh and Glasgow. For some reason they didn't upload in order, so you'll just have to guess where each one was taken. The trip was amazing - we drank a lot of coffee and saw lots of old stuff - fun was had by all. So, I went to Romania with Alex in April. We spent a week there. It was a great trip. I've posted some pictures here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
