Along a Country Road. 8230;musings on the nature that surrounds me. Finally the Sun……………. Can’t Help Myself…………….mezmerizing…………. →. I remember last August. It felt like high summer at this time of the month. The garden was at its peak and everything felt very lush. For some reason this year it seems the season is further along at this time. One day last July, during the middle of the day, while walking along a dirt road, a came across a buck who was feeding on the young leaves and branches of some cherry and maple trees. Found this recipe from Gordon Ramsey and tried it out. Quite simple, tasted yummy over some steamed brown rice and finished up the left over pork. This past Saturday had planned some outdoor grilling but with Hanna making an appearance we opted for grilling indoors. We had some wonderful Ross’s Rustic Bread and some just picked eggplants. Tried this recipe with great results. By MARTHA ROSE SHULMAN. 2 to 4 1/2-inch thick slices eggplant (depending on the size of the eggplant).
